Who could have predicted times like these?

 

To ensure that you can continue to enjoy a fantastic stay here at our dream hotel, we have made preparations for the current situation and taken various precautions.

In the following section, we provide answers to the questions that you will undoubtedly have.

 

Please help us to implement the measures in our hotel in order to protect the health and well-being of our guests and staff.

WHICH GENERAL GUIDELINES MUST BE COMPLIED WITH AT THE PIERDREI HOTEL?

  1. Be considerate towards others.
  2. Keep your distance (1.5 metres).
  3. Please wear a face mask in the public areas of our hotel.
  4. Wash your hands frequently and regularly for at least 20 seconds.
  5. Cough or sneeze into the crook of your arm.
  6. Avoid touching your face.
  7. Pay attention to yourself - if you do not feel well, please visit us at a later date. We’ll look forward to it!

WHAT CAN I EXPECT WHEN CHECKING IN?

  1. You should enter the hotel one at a time (please pay attention to the signage at the hotel).
  2. Please use the hand sanitisers which are available in the lobby after entering.
  3. Please maintain a distance of 1.5m from our staff.
  4. A hotel staff member will complete the registration form, which will be checked by the guest. E-mail addresses and telephone numbers must be recorded.
  5. Key cards will be freshly disinfected before being given to you.

WHICH RULES WILL APPLY DURING MY STAY?

  1. Ensure that you maintain the required minimum distance of 1.5m. This applies everywhere - here at the hotel, particularly in the public areas, but also outdoors.
  2. Good to know: our public areas are regularly disinfected.
  3. You can also sanitise your hands in the lobby during your stay.
  4. We ask that hotel guests use the stairs where possible. Only guests staying in the same room are permitted to use the lift at the same time.
  5. If you fall ill during your stay with us, we would ask that you leave and we will happily welcome you back another time.

CAN I HAVE BREAKFAST AT THE PIERDREI?

The answer is YES!

We are currently serving our breakfast à la carte during the usual breakfast hours:

Mon - Fri: 6.30am - 10.30am, Sat & Sun: 7am - 12pm.

At check in we will ask you for your desired breakfast times during your stay.

WHAT ABOUT THE ROOMS?

  1. Hotel rooms will only be cleaned prior to arrival or following departure, and not during a guest or party’s stay. Hotel linen (for example towels) can be exchanged without staff and guests coming into contact with each other.
  2. Our housekeeping and maintenance staff carry out their work wearing face masks and disposable gloves.
  3. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer loan items such as irons or kettles at the current time. We are also unable to loan or issue charging cables or toothbrushes at reception.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT WHEN CHECKING OUT?

  1. Contactless card payments are our preferred method of payment.
  2. We would prefer to send you the invoice by e-mail to avoid points of contact.
  3. Please maintain a distance from our staff.

CAN I VISIT THE KITCHENS RESTAURANT, THE BAR OR MOON 46?

We look forward to welcoming you to the bar/piazza.

Please note the following:

  1. Current opening hours for evening or lunchtime service:
    Food:
    Mon - Sat 12pm-8pm, Sun 12pm-6pm
    Drinks:
    Mon - Sat 12pm-10pm, Sun 12pm-8pm
  2. Table reservations are essential.
  3. Your details (name, e-mail address and telephone number) must be recorded by our staff when visiting our dining areas.
  4. The tables in our restaurant have been positioned the stipulated minimum distance apart.
  5. A sanitiser dispenser is available.
  6. Our staff wear face masks, waiting staff wear disposable gloves when laying tables and all kitchen staff wear disposable gloves at all times whilst working.
  7. Contactless card payments are preferred, or alternatively, hotel guests can have the cost added to the total bill to be settled when checking out.
  8. Food and drinks menus can be scanned and viewed on your own mobile device via a QR code. Alternatively, laminated menus are available, which are disinfected after each use.

MOON 46 will open at a later date.

WHAT ABOUT DREICYCLE, THE SHOP, THE RACKER ROOM AND THE HAFENBÜHNE?

  1. Bicycles are still available at DREICYCLE. These are disinfected before and after every use by a member of staff. Unfortunately, helmets are not currently available for hire.
  2. We regret that self-service is no longer available in the shop in the lobby. The staff at reception will be happy to assist you.
  3. The RACKER ROOM must unfortunately remain closed.
  4. In addition, it is currently not possible for events to take place at the HAFENBÜHNE.

AM I ALLOWED TO CHECK-IN IF I COME FROM A CORONA HOTSPOT?

No, unfortunately not.

From 1st July 2020, the city of Hamburg will not allow hotels to welcome visitors from German corona hotspots. Therefore, guests must confirm in writing at check-in that they have not stayed in an affected area in the past 14 days where the number of new corona virus infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past 7 days is higher than 50.

Excluded from this ban are people from risk areas who present a negative corona test at check-in, which must not be older than 48 hours. Those concerned who have already booked a stay with us can postpone it to a later period, subject to availability, during which the restrictions no longer apply.
