Iconic Awards 2022
We have received the award "ICONIC AWARDS 2022: Innovative Architecture - Winner" in the category - INTERIOR - Hospitality.
We thank and congratulate our interior designer Armin Fischer and his team from DREIMETA in Augsburg, who worked on the design of the PIERDREI over several years.
The design and architecture competition honors projects from the fields of architecture, interior design, product design and brand communication.
"The founders of Hamburg’s Miniaturwunderland, Schmidt’s Tivoli, and a Hamburg hotelier have created a hotel that has it all! Spread out over several floors are 212 rooms, a kids and teens area, a restaurant, a bar and the »Hafenbühne« stage. For those seeking adventure, camper vans on the roof offer a unique overnight experience. The design plays with proportions and perspectives: in the aquarium at the reception a miniature shark is chased by an oversized goldfish. Nearby, a giant anchor chain hangs from the ceiling. The shelves in the restaurant display a massive collection of kitchen utensils and an enormous wall is decorated with more than 200 pictures showing dishes from around the world."
