The art association Imagine the City presents an art walk through HafenCity. We are very proud to present two artworks of the exhibition in and around our hotel: On the one hand the installation "KARLA" in one of our hotel rooms and the artwork "Faro Adentro" in the vitrine directly in front of the hotel.  
The exhibition "THE GATE. Wohin führt das Tor zur Welt?" (Where does the gate to the world lead?) starts on 04 June 2021 and invites you to discover, experience and discuss until the end of September. 
 
PIERDREI goes Art
Among the national and international artists showing installations in public space is Omer Fast (*1972, ISR), an internationally successful border crosser between art and film scene. 
KARLA: A hologram hovers ghost-like above the bed of one of our rooms. The constantly transforming protagonist of Fast's video installation, originally developed for the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, tells of his/her work as a "content manager" for a global video platform. Fast's work refers to the tension between documentation and fiction.
